Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1+ years License: Certification/Licensure required to work as an RRT in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital Comfortable being the only respiratory therapist on shift Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Experience in emergency room and critical care settings Description: Backfill needed for respiratory therapy position. Facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital. Located near water activities such as fishing and boating. All travelers must have required certifications prior to start. State-specific checks will be conducted. Orientation occurs weekly. Position serves all age groups. Duties include operating BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and Vapotherm. EHR system used is Meditech. Supervision provided by the Director of Respiratory Therapy and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Personality fit should be professional. Scrub color is any, but casual wear is not acceptable.
